Captain Redbeard the Pirate Take on Guy Fawkes!16 October 2005
Enjoy Legoland Windsor’s Firework Spectacular with Superbreak
This year, the Legoland pirates are out it force, but their territory has been invaded by rogue pirate crews on a quest to solve the mystery of Captain Redbeard’s curse. Piracy, skullduggery, swashbuckling fun and a fantastic Firework Spectacular awaits all who visit. The park’s motley crew featuring Jolly Jack Crow, Captain Kragg and Scurvy Dog will be signing up new recruits as they enter the park. Younger guests should be prepared to walk the plan, climb the rigging and swab the decks if they want to join this merry band of buccaneers. Superbreak (www.superbreak.com), offers packages that combine overnight accommodation with a two day entrance ticket to the park so families can spend two days enjoying all the rides.
The Firework Spectacular runs from 27 – 29 October and celebrates the end of Legoland Windsor’s 10th season. Families can enjoy a host of pirate themed activities throughout the day before the fireworks begin at dusk – so long as Captain Redbeard is found.
The park opens at 10am and the fireworks commence at dusk. The main viewing areas in the park are Miniland and LEGO City Harbour where the pre-show events will also take place. Rides close one hour before the show begins.
