Tipped as the hottest theatrical event of the year, Les Miserables will celebrate its 25th birthday in October with an anniversary concert at The O2 Arena. This is a one-off, must see event for any musical theatre fan being on an even grander scale than the magnificent 10th birthday party at The Royal Albert Hall some 15 years ago. The 25th Anniversary concert at The O2 on 3 October will host a star studied company of over 300 actors and musicians, including Alfie Boe as ‘Jean Valjean’, Nick Jonas as ‘Marius’, Norm Lewis as ‘Javert’, Matt Lucas as ‘Thénardier’, Lea Salonga as ‘Fantine’, Jenny Galloway as ‘Madame Thénardier’, Camilla Kerslake as ‘Cosette’ and the casts of the Original Production at the Queen’s Theatre, the New 25th Anniversary Production at the Barbican and members of the Original 1985 London cast.
Les Miserables has been seen by 56 million people worldwide in 42 countries. It’s the world’s longest running musical and has an extensive following. Demand for the concert has been so high that a matinee performance has also been added.
