What’s new for 2010

Alton Towers – New Ride TH13TEEN
The ultimate rollercoaster, Th13teen, launches on 20th March 2010. Th13teen will be based on the discovery of an unearthed burial site in an area of unexplored woodland known as the Dark Forest. Built on the site of the old Corkscrew rollercoaster, visitors will be invited to take a petrifying ride on Th13teen, venturing into the seemingly living and breathing Dark Forest. There they will face an unknown horror that has been unleashed from the ancient crypt The Ride has been developed with the world’s leading coaster and thrill consultants who have collaborated to combine the ultimate elements of physical and psychological fear – to create what experts are dubbing a ‘PSYCHOASTER’

A package costs from £173 per family of four (two adults and two children sharing a room) staying one night at a supersaver mystery hotel in Stoke on Trent on a b/b basis with two consecutive day entrance ticket to the park. Children aged 4-11years. Valid from 20 March onwards.

Legoland Windsor – New land for 2010 – Pirates Landing
Enjoy a whole new land where visitor can try out their swashbuckling, seafaring skills at the Pirate Training Camp, an interactive adventure play area with so much to explore. Or climb aboard for a breathtaking ride on the new swinging LEGO galleon, the Jolly Rocker – the first ever pirate ship in any LEGOLAND park, swinging to an incredible 18 metres high! Then set sail for a soaking and follow the pirates on a hunt for treasure on the “explosively” enhanced Pirate Falls Dynamite Drench. With new interactive water cannons, it’s one adventure that’s bound to go with a splash! There is also a new pirate-themed live action show for 2010, ‘the Pirates of Skeleton Bay’, the first in the park’s history, featuring death-defying acrobatics and swashbuckling.

A package costs from £201 per family of four (two adults and two children sharing a room) staying one night at the three star Premier Inn London Heathrow on a room only basis with a two consecutive day entrance ticket to the park.
