Graham Balmforth, national sales manager at Superbreak Mini-Holidays comments: “London continues to sell well and the addition of new shows and new exhibitions provides agents with plenty of product to promote in 2008. With the continued media hype around the West End and the latest TV show “I’d Do Anything” just starting, we expect demand for theatre packages to continue to grow. Our hotel mix continues to be as strong as ever both at the budget end with groups such as Premier Inn and Travelodge and also at the four star end with significant investment taking place. A good example of this is the Guoman hotel brand which has invested heavily on the refurbishments of The Cumberland Hotel, The Charing Cross Hotel and going forward The Tower hotel. Getting to London by rail has never been better value with us and we are confident that we can help agents to book over 250,000 customers on London breaks over the next 12 months.”
