out of 5The hotel was well situated close to The Madelaine however claims that this is a 4 star hotel are not accurate. The hotel rooms are very dated particularly the bathrooms which have not been update since the 70's and the total hotel is in need of refurbishing.The warm sunny weather was wonderful for walking around and visiting the popular Paris sites Notre Dame, very crowded due to the 850 anniversary celebrations however Sacre Coeur was a lovely experience with morning prayers being sung during our visit. The Muse D,Orsay was wonderful as always with some interesting furniture exhibitions in addition to opportunity to see the large collection of Monets, Renoirs etc..Buy a carnet of metro tickets for an easy cost effective way of making the most of a few days. A few good lunch spots around the Place de Voges and an excellent evening meal at Le Restautant in The Rue des Beaux Arts. Some nice cafe bars around The Madelaine in particular Paris London.

out of 5We had a lovely stay in Paris. The hotel was very good, a great location. We did find it really expensive especially the food which was of poor quality. We got about by bus we had a two day pass although expensive was worth it.
