Great stay at hotel, saw Gary Numan at university & Yes at Apollo; brilliant sets. Manchester is a great place for events; check it out.

My primary reason for visit was to see my family. I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have generally had a comfortable stay on each occasion. Parking can be a problem if there is a function going on (wedding or party), but generally ok. Value for money if you get a 2-4-1 discount, or similar. I wouldn't pay the standard room fee of £109 though, it's not worth it. Breakfast is generally good, rooms clean and tidy with plenty space. Now has a small fitness centre but did not use it this occasion. Worsley village is very pleasant - particularly during spring and summer, there are canal trips to go on, woodlands to explore and nice pubs to eat in (the bridgewater, john gilbert). Buses can take you into Manchester city or Trafford centre - both excellent for shopping.

A well located hotel for visiting Manchester and west Lancashire. Rooms are comfortable, service is pleasant and the breakfast is well presented and tasty. The hotel is set close to the motorway M62 and there are no views as such, but it has everything you should need for a short break where time in the hotel is limited. A nice pub is located less the 100 metres from the entrance to the hotel, offering good value meals and tapas. I would recommend this hotel.

Good choice of shops in city centre. Drinks in hotel bar slightly expensive poor resturaunt facility due to renovations should improve when work finished. Felt rushed in the bar at midnight
