North West London & Wembley Holiday Reviews

Berkhamsted, North West London & Wembley

Hotels in North West London & the Wembley area offer visitors a mix of traditional village atmosphere and city centre living. In spite of being a short train journey from central London, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the more rural aspects of the capital thanks to an array of nearby parks and reserves. Plus, make sure you allow time to visit the below attractions once you’ve booked your North West London & Wembley hotel

  • Wembley Arena is always rocking with the biggest stars in the world. From music’s finest artists to top sporting events, double check what’s happening during your visit
  • To add a little more culture to your break, check out Keats House – a museum and literary centre dedicated to the memory of poet, John Keats
Ruislip Lido Railway provides an exceptional day out for the whole family to enjoy, too, and a visit to Winnie-the-Pooh's '100 Aker Wood' at Aldenham Country Park will be enjoyed by adults and children alike. The ever-impressive Wembley Stadium is one to keep an eye on, especially if you’re into your sport. From cup finals to exciting international matches, you’ll definitely want to see what’s on whilst you’re in the area.

A Weekend In London

Stay Date: 21/04/07, a customer from Peterborough who stayed at 4* Crowne Plaza London Ealing in Ealing wrote this review.

We set off from Peterborough at 11 and arrived at our Hotel at about 2pm. We dropped our overnight bags off an headed straight off to Madame Tussauds, this was a really good attraction, a lot of See More  Read more information fun. Next was dinner. Upon getting back to the hotel, we had half an hour to get ready before heading out on the tube to Parsons Green Station to visit a little Italian restaurant in Fulham. We had afantastic meal and topped it off my picking up some beautiful flowers from the shop over the road. Sunday was a very tiring day, but lots of fun! We visited the London Zoo and the London Eye as well asdropping in on Oxford Street for a spot of shopping before taking the long trip home (we couldn't go direct to Peterborough because of construction work so had to get a train to Luton and then a busto Peterborough - exhausting!) What a weekend!!   Collapse  Hide

A last minute decision to visit London with the kids before the end of the school holidays. Hotel location at Ealing was good. 10-15 minutes to central London on the tube from Hangar Lane station See More  Read more information (only 50m from the hotel), and with free parking and easy access from the M1 the drive was a breeze. The Hotel was comfy and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a widechoice which pleased the kids.   Collapse  Hide

Weekend In London

Stay Date: 30/04/12, a customer who stayed at 3* Travelodge London Ealing Hotel in Ealing wrote this review.

The travelodge in Ealing was very clean & comfortable & the staff were helpful & friendly. Plenty to choose from on the breakfast menu but get up early if you want your cooked breakfast still hot. A See More  Read more information standard double room was very basic but good value for the money although could do with a few extra pillows on the bed and maybe some biscuits to go with your tea & coffee facilities. There areplenty of shops, pubs & restaurants in ealing broadway & ealing common to choose but if travelling by tube get the district line to ealing broadway station otherwise there's a long walk to the hotel. However it only takes about 30mins to get to and from the capital from ealing. The hotel is on a flight path to heathrow airport so you may get some noise at night from low flying planes but the bed was socomfy that we managed to fall asleep each night without a problem. In the capital theres so much to see and do with a famouse landmark or sight around every corner. It is quite pricey the closer youget to the centre so if money is no object you will be in your element. Harrods is always worth a look even if you cant afford to buy anything and i would recommend a wander down the kings roadthrough kensington & chelsea if your a shopaholic. You need to spend more than a weekend in london really to see and do everything that is on offer there. The centre does get very crowded as do the tubestations although it is easier to get around by tube and cheaper as a day out ticket costs around £7 and will let you on any tube around the city and surrounding areas all day. Overall i would recommendtravelodge in ealing for a cheap comfortable place to stay and would definitely visit the capital again for a bit longer with more money.   Collapse  Hide
