This beautiful region is extremely diverse and quintessentially Welsh. Prestatyn is a great seaside destination shielded by mountains and surrounded by great countryside. Snowdonia National Park is fantastic for walking and Snowdon is one of the greatest attractions. Betws-y-Coed is a beautiful area offering waterfalls, hill-top lakes and ancient bridges.

A customer from ISLE OF MAN who stayed at 3* Ye Olde Anchor Hotel in Ruthin wrote this review.
Having lived in Ruthin many years ago, we wanted to see if the place had changes much from being a small market town. The hotel room was fine and the restaurant menu had a varied selection of dishes. The views of the Clwydian Mountains are marvelous and still as we remembered them. The Farmers Market was interesting and I would recommend the coffee shop opposite the the 'oldest building'.

A customer from CREWE who stayed at 3* Ruthin Castle Hotel in Ruthin wrote this review.
We booked Ruthin castle hotel for a one night stay for our wedding anniversary - the restaurant had to be good as we didn't want to drive any distance. It was a fabulous meal eith lovely restaurant staff. The only problem was that the room wasn't ready till 3pm as they had a wedding there on the same day and seemed unable to carry on with ordinary bookings at the same time.View was lovely from the room and the gardens great to walk in.

A customer from LIVINGSTON who stayed at 3* The Springfield Hotel in Holywell - Nr Chester wrote this review.
All in this hotel provided an excellent base for visiting family and nearby Chester. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only negative comment is the pool and (which was an added bonus to have one in the first place) the changing room could have been cleaner.
