Uefa Champions League is underway
Date Posted: 03/10/12

The group stages of the Uefa Champions League are well and truly underway for football fans, with the second round of fixtures taking place this week.
Chelsea played away to Danish side FC Nordsjaelland and Manchester United will be in Romania to take on CFR Cluj yesterday (Tuesday, October 2nd).
However, if fans are looking to attend a last minute Champions League match on home turf, they should look to today's (Wednesday, October 3rd) fixtures that see Arsenal take on Olympiakos at the Emirates, while Manchester City host German champions Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium.
Football fans who can't make these matches should not worry, however, as all four British teams each have two more games at home before the end of the group stages, so there is amply opportunity to see more live football from Europe's best.
Last week, defending champions Chelsea got off to a disappointing start in the competition, after failing to defend a 2-0 lead against Juventus and Manchester United snatched a 1-0 win against Galatasaray.
Arsenal, meanwhile, pulled off an impressive win over Montpellier, but Manchester City lost out to Real Madrid, who managed to secure a 3-2 win with an injury time winner from Cristiano Ronaldo.
