Twelfth Night to be performed at the Globe
Date Posted: 01/08/12

William Shakespeare's famed comedy Twelfth Night is to be performed at the Globe Theatre later this year, with Stephen Fry in a starring role as Malvolio.
The play will open for those booking theatre breaks in London on Saturday, September 22nd, running until Sunday, October 14th.
Following its closure it will move to the Apollo Theatre London on Friday, November 2nd, although it will no longer feature the much-loved Fry.
Twelfth Night tells the tale of mistaken identity in the ancient setting of Illyria causing confusion and hilarity for all those in the audience, in a style not too far removed from pantomime.
Shakespeare regular Mark Rylance will be playing Olivia while Samuel Barnett and Johnny Flynn will take on the roles of the twins Sebastian and Viola.
Fry is famous for starring alongside Rik Mayall in Cell Mates on the West End in 1995 but walking out after only three days, blaming his bipolar disorder for the impromptu departure.
