Tony-winning musical Once to appear at London's Phoenix Theatre

Theatre buffs booking short breaks to London this spring will be able to catch a performance of the hit musical Once.
It has been announced that the tale, which bagged an incredible eight Tony Awards on its Broadway debut, will start previewing at the Phoenix Theatre in the capital from Saturday, March 16th.
Once will start in full from Tuesday, April 9th, and it has big shoes to fill, replacing smash hit Blood Brothers.
It tells the story of an Irish busker and a young Czech mother who are put in touch through a shared love of music which sparks a connection.
What follows, is a very special romance which neither of them expected to begin with.
New York Times critic Ben Brantley said of the musical when it first opened that it "uses song and dance in a way I've never experienced in an American musical".
Casting for the production has yet to be announced.
