Take That announce new dates as demand outstrips Michael Jackson tour

New dates have been added to Take That's Progress tour, with demand for tickets outstripping Michael Jackson's This Is It shows.
Earlier today, thousands of fans crashed websites and phone lines as they looked to book their place in the crowd to see the group.
It will be the first time that Take That have played together as a five-piece since 1995, with Robbie Williams now back on board.
As well as extra dates in Cardiff, Manchester and Birmingham, fans staying in Newcastle hotels will now be able to see the group perform at the nearby Stadium of Light on Tuesday May 31st, a night after the tour gets underway at the Sunderland venue.
"The knock-on effect is also creating problems for the UK telephone network. It's been confirmed that it's also straining to cope and that call volume is at least twice that of the Michael Jackson on sale last March," said a spokesperson for Ticketmaster.
Fans of Take That have been queuing up overnight outside the stadiums to get their hands on what will be one of 2011's hottest tickets.
