Many people will see the gig as the perfect way to kick off weekend city breaks in London, ahead of King Animal's release on Monday, November 12th.
The album is one of the most keenly anticipated albums of 2012, having been produced by Adam Kasper of Foo Fighters, Nirvana and Pearl Jam fame.
It's not just the production value of the album that has heightened anticipation either, with this album containing the first new songs by the band since the 1990s.
Tickets on go on sale from 10am on Friday, October 26th.
