Snoop Dogg Confirmed for T in the Park

The 20th anniversary of the T in the Park festival is set to be an extra special occasion with none other than Snoop Dogg lined up to headline the event.
It has been announced that the US rapper will be joining the bill for the Scottish festival this year, along with headliners Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers.
Festival director Geoff Ellis said: "Snoop Dogg is a true legend and one of the most influential rap stars of all time.
"His first and only T in the Park performance so far back in 2005 was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our 20-year history, and we're hugely excited to bring him back to Scotland for our 20th edition."
A number of other top acts are already confirmed as taking part, including Kraftwerk, Stereophonics, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Emeli Sande, Foals, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Jake Bugg, Tom Odell, Haim and Palma Violets.
T in the Park runs from July 11th to 14th and takes place at Balado near Kinross, meaning hotels in Edinburgh could be the perfect base for those wishing to attend the festival with the Scottish capital just 40 minutes away by car.
