Scotland's premier music festival announces headliners
Date Posted: 27/02/12
T in the Park has announced Snow Patrol, Kasabian and The Stone Roses as the three main headliners.
These bands will be joined by the likes of Elbow, Happy Mondays, New Order and The Maccabees among the rest of the line-up for the Kinross-based festival in Scotland.
Music lovers will need to arrange their short breaks to Scotland between Thursday, July 5th to Sunday, July 8th for a chance to be among the 85,000 people expected to attend the festival.
Fans of The Stones Roses will be particularly excited as the band are playing their first shows in over 15 years after initially breaking up in 1996.
T in the Park has been running for 18 years and has been hosted at the disused airfield in Balaldo, Kinross-shire since 1997.
The T in T in the Park stands for Tennents, a Glasgow-based beer that has existed for over 250 years.
