Russian Wave to celebrate culture at Riverside Studios
Date Posted: 11/09/12

This Sunday, September 16th will see one-day culture festival Russian Wave land at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith.
A 12-hour programme of events will celebrate contemporary Russian culture, giving those on hotel breaks in London plenty to do.
Cinema, literature, theatre and music celebrating the country's rich cultural heritage will all feature, in what promises to be a thrilling amalgamation of all things Russia.
Four award-winning films will feature, while an hour dedication to contemporary animation will prove entertaining for adults and children alike.
An innovative iPainting experience will be hosted by digital artist Nadja Ryzhakova, who will be on hand to capture scenes, faces and the atmosphere of the festival in a piece of art throughout the day.
The film schedule includes 2010's Gromozeka, which considers the experiences of three middle-aged, former school mates coming to terms with their lives. There will also be screenings of historical drama Tsar and Kinotavr Film Festival winner Indifference.
