Richard Hamilton Show For Tate Modern
Date Posted: 08/11/13
Early in 2014, a Richard Hamilton exhibition will open at the Tate Modern. The show is due to begin February 13th next year and go on until May 26th at the London modern art space.
Organisers say that this is the first time a retrospective focusing on the artist will comprise the entire scope of his work. Piece range from work done during the 1950s to work completed only a few years ago. Hamilton died in 2011.
The exhibition has been organised by Tate Modern and Madrid's Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía. It's set to hit the Spanish city later in the year, between June and October.
At the Tate Modern it will be open every day between 10am and 6pm, with later opening until 10pm Fridays and Saturdays. An installation that Hamilton created in the 1950s, Fun House, will form part of the show.
London is full of famous attractions, and London hotels make excellent places to stay in the city. Visitors might also want to take-in the British Museum, Tate Britain and Madame Tussauds, for example.
