Reworked Bill Wyman Photographs go on Display in London
Date Posted: 28/02/13

Those on city breaks in London this coming month have a chance to see an unusual exhibition featuring reworked photographs taken by ex-Rolling Stone Bill Wyman.
The exhibition opened yesterday (February 27th) at the Rook & Raven gallery in Soho and runs until March 31st.
Wyman, who has been taking photographs since childhood, has handed over several of his prints, covering subjects including landscapes, wildlife and candid shots of his former bandmates, to a number of artists who have reworked them to create unique and intriguing images.
Among the artists involved in the exhibition are the great cartoonist Gerald Scarfe and young artist James Mylne, who produces photorealistic work using ballpoint pens, reports the BBC.
"I gave Gerald Scarfe a few choices and he chose the Keith Richard boxer pose, which is a mad one," Wyman told the news provider.
"He's a lovely natural man and we seem to bump into each other and we always have a chat. It's nice to have that close relationship which I don't have with the other artists."
