David Suchet will take to the West End stage to play the role of James Tyrone in Long Day's Journey Into Night, which opens next year.
He will appear at the Apollo theatre and entertain those booking London hotels between Monday April 2nd and Saturday August 18th.
The show is also set for a short run at the Richmond theatre, south London, between Wednesday February 22nd and Saturday March 3rd.
Directed by Anthony Page, Eugene O'Neill's story takes the audience back to 1912 and focuses on the Tyrone family who are being torn apart as they struggle to battle with their inner demons.
Suchet is most famous for playing the role of Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in Agatha Christie's crime drama.
However, he is no stranger to the London stage and appeared in All My Sons at the Apollo in 2010, while he has also starred in the Last Confession and Amadeus.
