Phenomenal demand sees Westlife extend Greatest Hits tour

Westlife have added more dates to their Greatest Hits tour on the back of phenomenal demand.

Fans booking city breaks will now be able to see the boys in June of next year, with extra gigs planned for some of the UK's biggest venues.

They will now appear at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena on Tuesday June 5th, before playing at The O2 arena two nights later.

Birmingham's LG Arena welcome Nicky, Shane, Kian and Mark on Friday June 8th, with further shows planned for Manchester's Evening News Arena, Cardiff and Sheffield Motorpoint Arenas, Liverpool's Echo Arena, Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena and Glasgow's SECC throughout the first half of the month.

Westlife announced the Greatest Hits tour and new album as they revealed plans to split up earlier this month.

In a statement this week, the boys thanked their fans for all the kind words they had received.

"The support we have felt over the last couple of days gives us all strength as we look forward to our new individual paths in life and we all feel excited about the next chapters that we are embarking on."
