Noel Gallagher 'excited' about Stone Roses return

Noel Gallagher has admitted that he is excited that the Stone Roses have reformed for a host of gigs later this year.
Speaking to Zane Lowe's Radio One show, the former Oasis star said that Ian Brown, John Squire and Mani have been sounding excellent during their practice sessions.
"I know they've been rehearsing and I've spoken to a couple of people who have been in rehearsal who have said it sounds amazing, but I'm just really made up for them that they finally did it," he added.
The Stone Roses announced last year that they would be making a comeback in 2012, with gigs in front of fans booking Manchester hotels at the city's Heaton Park on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of June, along with a further appearance on Sunday July 1st.
Gallagher is also touring this year with his High Flying Birds, kicking things off at Manchester's MEN Arena on Monday February 13th.
