Noah And The Whale announce London Residency
Date Posted: 31/01/13
Music fans on London breaks this spring will have plenty of opportunity to catch indie favourites Noah And The Whale playing live, with the band unveiling plans for a four-week residency in the capital.
The London five-piece will play the Palace Theatre in the West End on April 28th, May 5th, May 12th and May 19th as part of their residency at the venue, titled 'A Month of Sundays'.
Tickets for the London shows will go on general sale from February 8th.
The announcement comes ahead of the release of the band's new album Heart Of Nowhere.
The new LP, which is Noah And The Whale's fourth studio album in five years, will be released on May 6th.
In comments made to NME, frontman Charlie Fink revealed the band chose to record the album live to give the record a more organic feel.
"The last record was an album that was built in the studio and that means you gravitate towards computers and perfection, and it's very easy to do that," he told the magazine.
"So we decided we wanted to go against that, and sacrifice that technical perfection for emotional intensity."
