New Sixties Photography Exhibition to Open at Tower Bridge

If you’re feeling nostalgic for the Swinging Sixties, then why not take a visit to the new ‘Sixties’ photography exhibition at Tower Bridge starting on March 28th?
The display will include over 60 iconic images from the era and focus on the people, places, events and designs that epitomise the revolutionary decade.
The images will be exhibited along the bridge’s West Walkway, which sits 42m above the River Thames, providing spectacular views.
Photographs include 26 large-scale panels, featuring iconic images of the people and places that shaped the 60s, including Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Caine, Twiggy, Richard Burton and Peter Sellers.
David Wight, visitor development and services director, City of London Corporation, commented: “This enjoyable and entertaining new photographic exhibition offers a wonderful insight into this exciting decade. Whether you lived through the period yourself or weren’t yet born, this exhibition will definitely spark a lifelong fascination with the people and times of the Swinging Sixties.”
