New 1D Waxworks at Madame Tussauds
Date Posted: 25/09/13
London's Madame Tussauds became the permanent home to waxworks based on the five members of boy band One Direction last month.
It follows a set of sculptures based on the stars appearing temporarily at the attraction between April and July this year. Those versions have since been touring are are currently at the New York Madame Tussauds, where they're set to stay until October 11th.
The freshly made London figures have been installed in the capital since August 23rd, and can be seen in an area of the museum themed around the What Makes You Beautiful group.
"We decided to create a whole new wax band to stay here in London and our team has been working around the clock to get them back into the attraction as soon as possible," Nicole Fenner from Madame Tussauds said.
Harry, Louis, Zayn, Niall and Liam have donated the clothes that the sculptures can be seen wearing.
One Direction fans taking London breaks may well want to head to see the sculptures - an attraction not to be missed.
