Manchester City given tough Champions League draw

Big-spending Manchester City have been given a tough draw as they prepare to make their first ever appearance in the Champions League.
They were placed in Group A and fans booking city breaks will be able to see them in action against Bayern Munich, Villarreal and Napoli.
Manchester United will be confident of progressing to the knockout stages after they were drawn in Group C and paired up with Benfica, Basel and Otelul Galati.
Andre Villas-Boas's Chelsea side are in Group E and will also hope to make it to the next stage as they go up against Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen and Genk.
Arsenal's reward for a battling victory over Udinese in the qualifying round sees them meet Marseille, Olympiakos and Borussia Dortmund.
While the fixture dates have yet to be confirmed, the first Champions League match week will take place on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th September.
The draw for the Europa League takes place in Monaco today (August 26th) with Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham, Birmingham City and Stoke City all keen to find out who their opponents will be.
