Linkin Park will join System of a Down at the Download 2011 festival, organisers have announced.
The multi-million selling band, famous for In the End, Papercut and Numb, will entertain those on weekend breaks at Donnington Park over the weekend of June 10th.
Chester Bennington, frontman for Linkin Park, said he was looking forward to the show.
"We are very excited to be playing Download again next year. It's one of the best festivals in the world and it's always an honour to play in front of such a great crowd. We can't wait," he added.
Linkin Park formed in 1996 and have recently released their fourth studio album A Thousand Suns, which has been well received by critics and fans alike, reaching number two in the UK charts.
Along with Linkin Park, fans of metal music will also be able to see System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold and Rob Zombie at Download.
