Kids Week brings family fun to the west end
Date Posted: 29/05/12
Families looking to go on theatre breaks in London this summer should look no further than Kids Week, which returns for its 15th birthday this year.
The event aims to give thousands of children up to the age of 16 a chance to experience the magic of many renowned west end theatre productions at absolutely no cost.
On top of the shows themselves, the kids get the opportunity to see behind the scenes, meet the stars and take part in exciting theatre-based events and activities.
Despite the name, Kids Week actually goes on for the whole of August, giving families plenty of time to make the trip to the capital.
The way Kids Week works is very simple: any child under 16 can attend the likes of The Lion King, Jersey Boys and Mamma Mia, to name a few, at no charge when accompanying any adult paying full price. Up to two extra child tickets can be purchased at half price per transaction.
