Kasabian and Bruce Springsteen to Play Hard Rock Calling
Date Posted: 06/03/13
Kasabian and Bruce Springsteen are to play this year's Hard Rock Calling, it has been announced.
The two major acts will headline the event, which takes place at the Olympic Park in London on June 29th and 30th.
This is the first time the festival is being held at the Olympic Park, having previously been hosted at Hyde Park, and promises to be one of the biggest London shows of the year.
Other acts on the bill include Paul Weller, The Black Crowes, Alabama Shakes, Miles Kane, Kodaline, The Cribs, Klaxons and Tribes, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Bruce Springsteen played the event last year and made headlines after his encore with Paul McCartney was cut short due to a noise curfew at Hyde Park.
"This summer we are giving Bruce and the band the opportunity to finish what they started and make history again with [a] celebrated performance at Hard Rock Calling," said chief executive of Hard Rock International, Hamish Dodds.
