Date Posted: 21/09/12

Comedian and actor Julian Barratt has been enlisted to join the cast of the forthcoming Royal Court production entitled NSFW.
Best known for starring opposite Noel Fielding in bizarre TV show The Mighty Boosh, Barratt will now perform as the editor of a lads magazine in Lucy Kirkwood's new comedy.
Fans of Barratt should book theatre breaks in London from Wednesday, October 31st and Saturday, November 24th to catch NSFW, which stands for Not Safe for Work. The acronym is used on websites when the viewer should avoid clicking on a link if they are at their office desk due to explicit content.
The play will look at "power games and privacy in the media and beyond" and promises to be a hilarious ride from start to finish.
NSFW is Lucy Kirkwood's debut at the Royal Court, but her past credits include Beauty and the Beast at the National Theatre, Small Hours at the Hampstead Theatre Downstairs and Tinderbox at the Bush Theatre.
The production will mark Barratt's first appearance on stage since his performance in The Government Inspector at the Young Vic.
