Head out with family over the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Weekend
Date Posted: 31/05/12
With the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Weekend imminent, families still have time to organise a day out to visit London.
Angela Griffin, celebrity mum, explained the weekend is an ideal time for parents to show their children the wonders of Britain.
Yet a survey by Netmums found a quarter of mothers struggle to find things to do and two-thirds are even anxious about making holiday plans for their families.
To solve your indecision, Ms Griffin suggests going to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. It's only just opened and is fantastic for devotees to the Harry Potter series and those with passing interest alike.
The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace is a great, free alternative. You won't have to spend a penny and it really is a spectacular show.
Just being in London over the coming weekend will be really exciting, with everyone getting in the mood to celebrate 60 years of Queen Elizabeth. So even just heading to the capital to soak up the atmosphere will be worth it.
