Happy Mondays to play 2 London dates
Date Posted: 21/08/12

Hits 90s Madchester rave band Happy Mondays are heading off to the capital to play two dates this December.
Fans of the band should book London hotels for Wednesday, December 19th or Thursday, December 20th to catch either of the shows at the Roundhouse.
The shows come after Happy Mondays announced a return to the live arena earlier this year with the original line-up that has not been reunited for more than 19 years.
They rose to the height of their fame with the album Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches, which was produced by Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne and featured their most famous single Step On. It was voted as number 31 in the list of 100 Greatest British Albums Ever by Q Magazine.
Support will come from 808 State, a legendary Manchester dance group that brought ambient techno to mass audiences in the 90s with hits songs such as Pacific, In Yer Face and The Only Rhyme that Bites.
