Grevin: A Parisian waxwork experience
Date Posted: 08/10/13
On Boulevard Montmartre in Paris, you'll find the waxwork museum Grevin, a place where sculptures of famous faces from Lady Gaga to Elton John are presented to the world.
This is certainly a varied spot - given that the waxworks on offer can be grouped into several different themes. As you will already have gathered, some are popstars. Others, though, are characters taken from fiction, while there are wax depictions of people from the world of film like Vanilla Sky star Penelope Cruz on display, too.
One of the most recent of the museum's waxworks was launched just yesterday (October 7th) according to the museum.
It shows the French pop star M. Pokora - and the man himself was present for the unveiling of the sculpture, which took half a year to create.
Paris hotels offer a splendid accommodation option when you're in the so-called City of Light, a place that's so full of things to see you're sure to have a fantastic time when you travel there.
