Glasvegas set for homecoming gig in Glasgow

Scottish alternative rockers Glasvegas are set to play in their home city later this year as they go on tour in support of their new album.
The four-piece will be entertaining those booking rooms in Glasgow hotels on Wednesday March 2nd, when they appear at the city's Queen Margaret Union.
This performance sits in between ones at Edinburgh's The Liquidroom and London's Heaven.
Glasvegas have a new record out in April, titled Euphoric Heartbreak, which has been produced by Flood, who has previously worked with the likes of U2 and The Killers.
Recently, David Pollock, writing for the Independent, said that a performance at Concert Hall in Troon was worthy of four stars.
"This band make music to suit a wet Wednesday night on the Ayrshire coast, but it helps if you're surrounded by a few hundred Scots in full voice," he noted, adding that new drummer Jonna Lofgren adds more fluency than the previous incumbent.
