Ghost Stories Make Frightening West End Return
Date Posted: 27/08/13
Families planning London theatre breaks next year should look no further than the chilling Ghost Stories, which makes it West End return in February.
Written and directed by The League of Gentlemen's Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman, who co-created and directed Derren Brown's television and stage shows, the show is full of shocks and thrills.
It will play from February 13th at Leicester Square’s Arts theatre, four years after it first appeared in London at the Lyric Hammersmith.
"Ghost Stories mixes the very best of theatre with the buzz of a thrill-ride, delivering something truly unique. With some new moments of shock, this revival promises more jolts than ever. You haven’t seen horror, until you’ve seen it live," the theatre says about its upcoming show.
Described by the Daily Telegraph as "brilliant and deeply unsettling", the show is not recommended for anyone under the age of 15.
Critic and TV presenter Jonathan Ross hailed the show as "awesome ... it's scary, but scary fun".
