Friendly Fires light up for November tour
Date Posted: 26/05/11
Friendly Fires have announced that they are touring the UK later this year following a number of festival appearances.
They will kick things off in front of those booking Bristol hotels when they line up at the city's O2 Academy on Thursday November 10th.
Next, they will move on to Birmingham, Southampton and Nottingham, before staging gigs in major cities like London, Leeds and Manchester.
The band are also playing a number of festivals this summer, bringing their up-beat indie funk sound to Glastonbury, T in the Park and Reading, among other venues.
They recently released their latest album Pala, which is the follow-up to 2008's self-titled effort which spawned singles like Jump in the Pool and Kiss of Life.
Commenting on the new album, Mohammed Choudhery, writing for Consequenceofsound.net, said: "You could tag Pala as any number of things, but there’s no arguing that this is anything but pure, unadulterated fun."
