England and India prepare for Boxing Day Test matches
Date Posted: 24/12/10
England and India take to the field in two separate Test matches on Boxing Day, with both sides looking for crucial wins.
Andrew Strauss' men are currently tying the Ashes series 1-1, and a victory in Melbourne will retain the urn for a further two years.
Meanwhile, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his side will take on South Africa at Durban and will be looking to fight back from a crushing defeat in the first Test.
The two series are an interesting pre-cursor to England and India meeting during the summer, with the first Test between the pair getting underway in front of those booking London hotels on Thursday July 21st at Lords.
India are currently ranked as the best Test side in the world, with stars such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh still performing to the highest standards.
England are third in the rankings and could move closer to overtaking South Africa in second with a good showing over the last two games in Australia.
