End of the Rainbow gets Trafalgar Studios extension

People looking for theatre breaks in London are being given extra time to see End of the Rainbow after it had its run extended.
The show, which tells the story of the troubled last days of Judy Garland's life, will now keep its residence at the West End's Trafalgar Studios until Saturday April 16th.
Tracie Bennett, the Laurence Olivier award-winning actress, takes the role of Garland in 1960s London as she struggles with drug and alcohol addiction while performing a number of concerts in order to reclaim past glories.
A number of Garland classics are reproduced in the show, with The Man That Got Away, Come Rain or Come Shine and The Trolley Song all featuring.
The production originally opened in Northampton in February last year, before transferring to the West End where it has been well received.
Charles Spencer, reviewing End of the Rainbow for the Telegraph, said that "an unforgettable performance (by Bennett) will send shivers down your spine".
