Elbow praised after 'pulling out all the stops' at Manchester gig

Critically-acclaimed indie rock band Elbow have been praised for a homecoming gig at the MEN Arena recently.
Steve Robson, writing for the Manchester Evening News, said that the boys have yet to achieve the commercial success which their music deserves, although 2008's The Seldom Seen Kid and this year's Build A Rocket Boys! are helping to do just that.
"Tender and extravagant in equal measure, Elbow’s set was delivered with all the operatic flair that makes them perfect for the big stage and boisterous crowd," he said.
Mr Robson went on to say that that The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver showed off the band's best side, while Guy Garvey's voice was described as their "most powerful instrument".
Elbow now head to Europe for a number of festivals in the summer, before returning to play in front of those booking Belfast hotels on Wednesday August 24th at the city's Custom House Square.
