Danny Boyle's Frankenstein is "a hell of a production"

Oscar-winning film maker Danny Boyle has been praised after his Frankenstein play was given rave reviews.
Having opened at London's National Theatre with back-to-back press nights, the production was commended for its haunting quality.
Paul Taylor, writing for the Independent, said Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, who alternate in the title role, ensure that Frankenstein packs a "devastating cumulative punch".
The London Evening Standard said that those booking theatre breaks would find the opening ten minutes to be "stunning", and the rest of the play does not disappoint.
Audiences were also warned by The Times' Libby Purves that they would enjoy the "thrilling play" without an interval, leaving them with barely enough time for a breath before it runs to its "awful conclusion".
Another play currently running at the National Theatre is Greenland, which explains through a collaboration of four different playwrights what is happening to the environment around us.
