Crime and Punishment hits Liverpool
Date Posted: 30/09/13
A theatrical production of Dostoyevsky novel Crime and Punishment is set to hit the stage in Liverpool next month. The play will be entertaining audiences at the Liverpool Playhouse between October 1st and October 19th.
Chris Hannan has adapted the novel, which was originally written in Russian and follows the story of a murderer. Dominic Hill is directing the piece, and it features Nikola Kodjabashia's music.
There are still some tickets left for performances, so anyone with plans to stay at Liverpool Hotels this October may want to invest in a place at the production, which is being performed in both evening and matinee slots. It is being advertised as suitable for theatre-goers aged over 14.
Adam Best is playing Raskolnikov in the production, with Mabel Clements taking on the role of Nastasya.
Meanwhile, the venue to see a theatrical version of 1984 hit the stage from October 29th to November 2nd this year.
