Cirque du Soleil bring new show to MEN Arena

Cirque du Soleil is returning to the UK next year, entertaining those booking Manchester hotels with a new show.
Alegria, which means 'jubilation' in Spanish, take the audience into a state of mind, looking at a number of different themes including power, old age, youth and the evolution from ancient monarchies to modern democracies.
The characters will show off their circus and street entertainment skills in a number of different roles, from minstrels and beggars to old aristocrats and children.
It will start off its short tour with performances at the MEN Arena between Wednesday April 4th and Saturday April 7th next year.
The show will then head to Glasgow's SECC & Clyde Auditorium for a similar-length run from Wednesday April 11th.
Birmingham's National Indoor Arena will then host the finale, with Alegria taking up residence between Wednesday April 18th and Sunday April 22nd.
Cirque du Soleil is also performing its Totem show at the Royal Albert Hall in January next year, with shows between Friday January 6th and Sunday January 29th.
