Date Posted: 31/01/11
The National Theatre has unveiled its list of future productions, with Anton Chekhov's Cherry Orchard one of the stand-out plays.
Starring Zoe Wanamaker and Conleth Hill, those taking theatre breaks in London will be able to see the Howard Davies directed show from Tuesday May 17th at the Olivier Theatre.
This will be followed at the same venue by Emperor and Galilean from Wednesday June 15th.
The Lyttelton Theatre will be home to Rocket to the Moon from Wednesday March 30th, with Nicholas Hytner directing One Man, Two Guvnors in May.
Furthermore, July will see A Woman Killed with Kindness coming to the London theatre.
Spring and summer productions have also been unveiled at the Cottesloe Theatre, including The Holy Rosenbergs and London Road, while two new plays will be shown going into September and October.
Currently, The National Theatre is putting on Greenland at the Lyttelton, which explores the big questions around climate change.
