Cast list for Goodnight Mister Tom announced

The full cast listing has been announced for Goodnight Mister Tom, with Olivier Award-winning Oliver Ford Davies set to star.
Coming to the Phoenix Theatre from Thursday, November 22nd, Ford Davies is to play Tom Oakley, with the production then going on a UK tour with people across the country able to enjoy it as part of theatre breaks.
Joining Ford Davies for the play, which began at the Chichester Festival Theatre in 2011, will be Louise Collins, Joanne Howarth, Aoife McMahon and Freya Parker.
The show tells the tale of young William Beech who gets evacuated from London during the Second World War and then builds up a strong friendship with Tom, the owner of his new home.
As well as being a highly successful book, it has also had several television adaptations too.
The story has been adapted for the stage by playwright David Wood and will be directed by Angus Jackson.
