Busted star's musical Loserville to make London premiere
Date Posted: 24/08/12

James Bourne, the former member pop ground Busted, is moving his musical Loserville to the Garrick Theatre this autumn.
Fans of Bourne, who co-wrote the show with award-winning composer Elliot Davis, should book theatre breaks in London from Monday, October 1st. The 1970s-set musical is currently set to run until Saturday, March 2nd, 2013.
The production is inspired by Bourne's work on the Welcome to Loserville album that he recorded with his band Son of Dork. It tells the story of a computer geek and his group of loser friends who are set to change when new girl Holly moves to town, harbouring a dark secret.
Loserville was first staged professionally at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds, after being commissioned by the Youth Music Theatre.
The likes of Aaron Sidwell and Eliza Hope Bennett will be continuing their roles in London as the lead romantic pair, while the likes of Stewart Clark, Lil Chris, Gareth Gates and Richard Lowe also make up the cast.
