Bon Jovi to headline new Hyde Park event
Date Posted: 24/01/13
Bon Jovi have been unveiled as the first headliners at a new music festival set to take place in London's Hyde Park this summer.
Barclaycard British Summer Time, organised by promoter AEG, will span ten days between June 28th and July 7th, meaning there's plenty of opportunity for those on London breaks to catch some of the action.
A number of other acts are expected to be announced over the coming weeks, while it is also understood the festival will include not just music but plenty of other performances and activities, spanning film, literature and sport.
"We literally started with a blank canvas and in Barclaycard British Summer Time we have created what we believe to be the ultimate in summer events," said AEG Live's Jim King. "Fantastic music, great food, drinks, farmers markets, theatre, film - and much more incredible entertainment across a full ten days."
Tickets for Bon Jovi, who play on July 5th, go on sale 9am Friday, February 1st.
