The Black Keys to tour the UK
Date Posted: 28/08/12

American rock two-piece The Black Keys have announced a five-date UK arena tour for the end of this year.
Fans of the Ohio-based band should book Newcastle hotels for Friday, December 7th to catch the first show at the Metro Radio Arena. They then play Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester, before finishing at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday, December 12th.
The tour commences one year to the day after the band released their seventh and latest studio album El Camino, which, coincidentally, rose to number seven in the UK album charts.
Preceding the album was the hit single Lonely Boy, which was accompanied by a very popular music video that shows a man dancing in one long take.
They have won three Grammy Awards since their commercial breakthrough with the 2010 record Brothers. This included Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, which they won with the song Tighten Up.
Tickets for the London show are priced at £30, while the rest of the dates cost £27.50.
