Birmingham need extra time to book Arsenal cup final date

Birmingham City have secured their Carling Cup final date with Arsenal after coming from a goal down to beat West Ham United.
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, Alex McLeish's side slipped further behind when Carlton Cole gave the visitors the lead with a stunning curling strike from 25 yards.
However, the manager introduced 6ft 7in Serbian striker Nikola Zigic in the second half and Birmingham upped their game.
Lee Bowyer levelled the tie on the night before Roger Johnson ensured that extra-time would be played with a header from a corner.
City midfielder Craig Gardner then lashed home to put his side in to the lead, and they withstood heavy pressure to progress to the next round.
Their fans will now look to book London hotels as they take on Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on Sunday February 27th.
For Arsene Wenger, the final represents an excellent opportunity to end the club's five-year trophy drought, having come from behind to defeat Ipswich Town in the semi-final.
