Are you prepared for a zombie apocalypse?
Date Posted: 29/05/12
If you've watched any of George A. Romero's classic zombie flicks and sat there shouting at the screen as if you were a master of post-apocalyptic survival, then you now have a chance to test out your potential.
2.8 Hours Later is a relatively new cross-city zombie chase game that sees individuals scampering across town by moonlight, trying to avoid a zombie horde and meet up with other survivors.
Zombie fanatics should book Leeds hotels between Wednesday 25th July and Saturday 28th July to attend the next battle for survival.
Players begin at a special start location in groups of around six to eight people. They are then tasked with heading to other locations while trying to avoid a team of zombie actors en-route.
If caught by a walking corpse, you are tagged as infected and if it shows up during quarantine you are dolled up as a zombie and send to the after-party - a zombie disco.
Tickets for the Leeds 2.8 Hours Later cost between £24 and £28 and are available now. The event is heading to a variety of other cities across the UK this year, including Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham and Bristol.
