Date Posted: 28/06/13
'When the Sun Goes Down' band Arctic Monkeys are set to take in a variety of venues in the UK on tour later this year, they have announced.
The band sprang to fame in 2005 when their catchy track 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor' stormed the charts and hit number one in the UK.
Tickets for their latest tour are sure to sell fast. They will go on sale next Friday, July 5th, at 9am, according to the band's website.
The tour will lead up to a gig in Sheffield on November 2nd, which will take place at the Motorpoint Arena in the city.
The other places that Alex Turner and the rest of the mega-successful four-piece will be playing are Newcastle (October 22nd, Metro Radio Arena), Manchester (October 23rd, Manchester Arena), London, (October 25th, Earls Court), Liverpool (October 28th, Liverpool Echo Arena), Birmingham (October 31st, LG Arena) and Glasgow (November 1st, Hydro).
Every one of Arctic Monkeys' LPs, from 2006's 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' to 2011's 'Suck It And See' has hit number one in the UK.
Short breaks could help Arctic Monkey fans who want to see their favourite band live. Once you've chosen which city to see the 'Fluorescent Adolescent' group in, why not book a hotel there if you need somewhere to stay around the time of the gig?
