Alicia Keys to headline MTV Crashes at Manchester Cathedral

Alicia Keys will perform at Manchester Cathedral later this month in celebration of the city's long musical heritage and youth culture.
The 14-time Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter will headline the MTV Crashes Manchester on Monday, September 24th.
Fans who book Manchester hotels will be able to attend the ticketed event for free and can see Keys perform songs from her upcoming album Girl On Fire, which is set for release on November 26th.
The event will be filmed for MTV World Stage and has been organised in collaboration with Manchester City Council.
Councillor Rosa Battle said: "It is with great excitement that we will welcome Alicia Keys to Manchester Cathedral this month.
"She is one of the world's most talented singers and the marriage between her remarkable voice and the wonderful venue will be up there in the history of Manchester's many musical highlights."
Keys has an international reputation as a musician, producer, actress and author, having sold over 30 million albums globally since the release of her debut Songs in A Minor.
